Rev. Duane G. Copeland

 

 

 

Duane Copeland is the pastor of Springfield Pentecostal Church located in the rural community of Springfield, 34 kilometers northwest of Fredericton. NB. He is married to Norma Copeland (Smith) of St. Stephen. They have two children, Jonathan 19 who is attending UNB in his second year of the Arts program and Naomi 12 who is a grade seven student at Nackawic Middle School.

 Duane is a member of the Apostolic Church of Pentecost of Canada Inc. of Calgary Alberta, filling the position of vice-chairman for the organization’s Quebec/Atlantic Canada district. He is also a council-member of Atlantic Missions Inc.

Duane has been involved in youth and pastoral ministry for over 20 years, being in Springfield for over 14 years. He enjoys playing the guitar, singing, supply teaching, and counseling.

Duane has completed his Certificate in Adult Education and is presently working on his B.ED in Adult Education. He has recently been asked to co-facilitate a course on personal development and spirituality at Fredericton’s Smythe St. Cathedral.

 Duane’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening and computers.
